Our home can be reached via the A6, which runs through Matlock and connects to Derby and Buxton. The A615 and nearby routes link to the wider Derbyshire road network, providing easy access from surrounding towns and villages.

Matlock railway station is the nearest station to us and is only a 4-minute drive from our home. Matlock Station has direct services to Nottingham, Derby and these then offer connections further afield, including to London St Pancras. Taxis and local buses are available from the station, making the final part of the journey simple.

Regular bus services run through Matlock, linking our home with nearby areas such as Derby, Chesterfield and Bakewell. Local routes typically stop within a reasonable walking distance of our care home, including the Old Hackney Lane stop, which is a 2-minute walk away. Timetabled services run throughout the day, making it easier for families and friends to plan visits.

These thoughtfully designed activities aim to enhance the physical, cognitive, and social wellbeing of all our residents living with dementia.

We have a team of in-house chefs and kitchen staff who cater to all dietary needs, with a varied seasonal menu to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also, beverages and snacks are available throughout the day in our cafe. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining area, private gardens in the summer months or even in their room. Residents can also spend time in the private dining room with loved ones.
