Our café at Darcy House isn’t just an area to grab a hot drink and a snack, it is somewhere our residents can relax, socialise with fellow residents or catch up with loved ones. Our friendly kitchen team are delighted to provide the highest quality service to anybody who visits our café.

Spending time in our café comes with a variety of benefits to the overall well-being of our residents, and we encourage them to make use of this as much as they wish. At our luxury care home in Matlock, our residents have open access to all of our facilities around the clock.

A Variety of Social Opportunities

Our café is located on the bottom floor of our luxury care home, ensuring it is accessible to all of our residents. We open a warm invitation for our café to the loved ones of our residents and often our visiting entertainers. It is the perfect area for our residents to catch up with fellow residents or friends and family, or to enjoy a moment of relaxation with a favourite book or newspaper. During our regular in-house events, we open up our café to members of the community which provides our residents the opportunity to engage with different generations and groups. We want our residents to consider Darcy House as a home away from home, so they have unlimited access to all of our facilities every day.

Snacks and Refreshments for Everybody

When visiting our café, residents and any visitors have unlimited access to drinks and snacks prepared by our kitchen team. If you have more of a sweet tooth, our chefs can make up some delicious pastries and cakes, or they also offer crisps, salads and savoury sandwiches if this is preferred. Whether you want hot or cold drinks, our team also have an abundance of stock to meet everybody’s preferences.
