Tasty Treats For National Ice Cream Day

This month, we marked National Ice Cream Day with a wonderful Ice Cream Festival that brought smiles to everyone’s faces. The sun shone brightly, making it the perfect day to enjoy a cool, sweet treat together. Residents gathered in our café, which had been beautifully decorated with colourful bunting and cheerful posters to create a real sense of celebration.

The highlight of the day was, of course, the ice cream itself. There was a tempting selection of flavours to choose from, and an array of toppings that made every bowl unique. From sprinkles and sauces to flying saucers and whipped cream, there was something to suit every taste. Laughter and chatter filled the room as residents enjoyed creating their delicious combinations and sharing memories of favourite summer holidays and seaside trips.

To add to the fun, our team arranged arts and crafts activities that ran alongside the festival. Residents had the chance to make bright, summery decorations and ice-cream themed crafts, which sparked lots of creativity and conversation. These activities encouraged everyone to get involved, whether through making something new or simply enjoying the lively atmosphere.
