Carinna, joins Darcy House as the Home Manager and brings with her 10 years experience of working in elderly care in Derbyshire and with a particular passion for dementia care. The resident’s happiness is at the heart of everything Carinna and her team will be offering, and she likes nothing more than to watch residents flourish and to be able to live happy meaningful lives within a warm and inviting homely environment. Carinna is looking forward to building links with the local community and cannot wait to set up partnerships with intergenerational projects and community support networks.
Helen is our Clinical Deputy Manager at Darcy House. Helen is a registered adult nurse with experience in general and mental health nursing, who especially loves caring for patients and their families in difficult times to deliver the highest standards and best care. Helen is especially excited to make a difference to each day with the focus being listening to the residents and making their requests a reality.
Amelia joins the team at Darcy House as the Administration Manager and will often be the first person you come into contact with. Amelia brings a wealth of experience to her role including from the legal sector. Being a local she has watched the home being built and cannot wait to start to welcome residents and their loved ones to their new home.
Adrian is our head chef here at Darcy House. Adrian’s philosophy towards the food is simple – make sure residents’ meals are an exciting event to look forward to, not just something they wait for.
With over 30 years of experience within various catering sectors, covering care homes, hotels, restaurants, and everything in between, Adrian has recently spent 7 years in Hong Kong, where he was the head chef at numerous establishments such as JPMorgan and Credit Suisse to name just two.
Adrian looks forward to getting to know your loved ones and giving them the dining experience they richly deserve.
Claire is our Head Housekeeper here at Darcy House Care Home, Matlock. Claire is looking forward to getting to know the residents and staff at our home in the near future.
